Taegan Knowland

Taegan Knowland is a first-generation racer with aspirations of having a successful NASCAR career. He began racing quarter midgets at 7 years old and captured the checkered flag in his very first rookie race. A few months later he would win the USAC.25 Nationals at Daytona International Speedway in the blue rookie division. 2022 highlights include USAC.25 Regional Champion at Front Range Colorado, TKQMA Season Series Champion, and a 3rd place podium finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway USAC.25 Nationals. Since his rookie season in 2021 Taegan has compiled over 34 Race Wins, 24 Second Place Finishes, and 89 Top 5 Finishes.

In 2023 Taegan raced his rookie season in a Bandolero and had 2 wins, 5 top 5s and 6 top 10s. He also had 5 wins, 25 top 5s, and 26 top 10s in his .25 Midget.

In 2024 Teagan is competing in the Cookout Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his Bandolero, the All-American Clash Series and at his home track of Topeka QMA in his .25 Midget.

When Tanner realized his young son, Taegan, wasn’t giving up on a dream to race, he put everything he had into learning the sport, making connections, purchasing the essentials, and launching a race team.

An avid NASCAR fan, you might say it was Pop who sparked Taegan’s interest in racing when he was just a toddler. Pop is a life-long tinkerer who has helped build (and re-build) TKR’s racing machines. Always up for the challenge, he has been on board with TKR as handler and top mechanic from the beginning.
